Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 2024 is a new tablet, that was unveiled by Huawei yesterday, during its Mate 70 and Mate X6 event. This premium tablet is available in two versions: a standard model with a glossy screen and a PaperMatte Display variant that incorporates a matte finish, similar to previous models we’ve seen.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 boasts a 13.2-inch Flexible OLED display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, offering a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of brightness. The PaperMatte version features an innovative optical layer using nano-magnetic coating and nanograving technology to minimize reflections and glare.
A notch houses the front-facing camera at the top, while the tablet’s expansive screen supports multitasking with up to four apps running simultaneously in multi-window mode. The device is compatible with the M Pencil 3rd Gen stylus and the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, making it a versatile tool for creatives and professionals.
Powering the device is a Kirin 9100 or 9020 processor, which promises 30% improved heat dissipation for seamless performance. It runs on HarmonyOS NEXT, based on HarmonyOS 4.3, and introduces advanced AI features like natural conversation capabilities via the Pangu language model, as well as AI-assisted note correction and summarization.
On the camera front, the MatePad Pro 13.2 features a 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the back, and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device packs a 10,100 mAh battery capable of charging from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes.
Weighing only 580 grams and measuring 5.5 mm thick, the tablet is designed for portability. It includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, six high-quality speakers, and starts at €680 for the standard model, while the PaperMatte version is priced at €760.
