Lenovo is ready to branch out some more, by expanding the Yoga brand with an E Ink machine. It’s the Lenovo Yoga Paper E Ink tablet, which just appeared in live images.
The slate appeared in pictures on Chinese social network Weibo. The packaging and the tablet itself have been pictured. Lenovo is familiar with 2 in 1 laptops that have an E Ink touchscreen, but we have yet to see an E Ink panel in the Yoga series.
The product comes with a digital pen attached and also brings a protective cover, that works like a stand. The screen size is said to be around 11 inches and the specs should be modest. I imagine something like a MediaTek or Snapdragon CPU, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
A 6000-8000 mAh battery is likely, maybe also quad speakers. This should definitely undercut the 499 euro price of the Huawei MatePad Paper if it wants to be relevant. Days of battery life would be nice.
