We’ve all heard of rugged tablets, tablets for kids, drawing tablets, but there’s a new segment coming: battery tablets. Just like we have battery phones made by Philips, Energizer and the works, now we’ll have a 20000 mAh battery tablet made by Oukitel.

The device is dubbed Oukitel RT2 and it features the world’s largest battery on a tablet. The product will be used in extreme and harsh environments, being a rugged machine. Oukitel RT2 tablet features a 20000 mAh battery, that can provide 4 to 5 days of battery life with a single charge. It also supports 33W fast charging, juicing up the battery in 4 hours.

Obviously there’s also reverse charge, turning the slate into a power bank. Specs also include a 10.1 inch screen with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, an ultra durable glass, 350 nits of brightness and military grade body. We’ve got both IP68 and IP69K certification as well as MIL-STD-810H certification.

This makes the unit waterproof, dustproof and shock proof. Oukitel has confirmed that the RT2 Tablet will come in mid September, but didn’t reveal more specs, like RAM, CPU and cameras. We know that the launch will happen on AliExpress.
