We already knew that realme was working on a new tablet, but we knew it as realme Pad 5G. Now it surfaces again with a new name, launch date, specs and color versions. It’s dubbed realme Pad X, it’s coming on May 26th and it’s got a funky design.

The realme Pad X will be launched on May 26th in China at 2 PM local time, according to the company’s official site. The renders of the device show it in green, with a sort of finish line pattern at the back, below the camera. There’s also a light blue version and a gray version. I see a flat frame here and what appears to be a metal body. The device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, as confirmed by the company CMO and it’s also the very first 5G tablet for realme.

We can see one singular big camera at the back and the AI inscription next to it. The renders also show slim bezels and a front facing camera placed on the right side when the device is held vertically. Leaks have also mentioned a QHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh and a large battery, perhaps larger than 7000 or 8000 mAh. I expect at least 128 GB of storage and 8 GB RAM here, plus a diagonal anywhere between 8 inches and 11 inches.

It definitely feels like a gaming tablet.
