Huawei debuted two new tablets in China at the end of July, the MatePad 10.8 and Enjoy Tablet 2 models. These are midrange devices with pretty impressive resolutions and appealing prices. Let’s check them out.
First of all, the Huawei MatePad 10.8 is actually closer to a flagship slate, since it has a 2560 x 1600 pixel display and the same CPU that powered the Huawei Mate 30 Pro last year. Priced at $340, this device comes in 4G and WiFi versions and brings a 10.8 inch IPS LCD display, 6 GB of RAM and 64, 128 or 256 GB of storage.
There’s a Kirin 990 CPU inside, a 7500 mAh battery and quad speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. We also get an audio jack and a bundled magnetic keyboard and pressure sensitive M Pen. It weighs 500 grams and has a 13 MP back cam.
On the other hand, the Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2 is priced at $230 and brings forth a 10.1 inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, plus a Kirin 710A CPU. There’s 4 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of storage and a 5100 mAh battery. We also get stereo speakers and an audio jack. No love for Google Play Store or Services here just AppGallery all the way.
