We’ve been hearing quite a bit about the next gen iPad Air and today new info comes out. Turns out that the device is going to be more affordable and powerful than its predecessor. The so called iPad Air 4 is slated for a Fall release, with an 11 inch screen and USB-C port, apparently.

Today we learn that the future iPad Air could end up cheaper than the predecessor. The device is said to adopt the iPhone SE strategy, combining an affordable price tag with a powerful CPU. It could end up with the Apple A13 inside, the processor from the iPhone SE (2020) and it should also bring a 10.8 inch screen. An 11 inch screen was also in the cards at some point. The current iPad Air, the 2019 edition is priced at $500 for the 64 GB model and has an Apple A12 CPU inside.

The original iPad 10.2 had the old Apple A10 chipset and goes for $330. The 2020 model should be priced somewhere between them, maybe at $400. There’s also a rumor that we’ll get a Magic Keyboard on this device and since it’s an Air it should be very light and slim. The new iPads are expected to be bundled with a20W chargers, unlike the iPhones which are now rumored to come sans chargers. We should also get new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models powered by Apple’s CPUs this year.
