Honor Tablet V6 already leaked a few times so far, ahead of the May 18th unveiling and today we catch a glimpse of it in real life. The device was spotted in the hands of a lovely lady, who seems to be using a stylus with it. We have more details below.
Honor already teased that it was preparing the first tablet with both 5G and WiFi 6, which is probably this Honor Tablet V6. According to a Weibo post the product is also specced now, with a Kirin 985 processor, which fits between the Kirin 820 and Kirin 990 and was inaugurated by the Honor 30. The device shown in the picture also seems to have a special cover accessory, that protects its body and props it up at an ideal angle for use.
The bezels are reasonably slim, but we can’t quite make out speakers or camera cutouts. We already predicted 4 or 6 GB of RAM on board, Android 10 and Magic UI, a camera of at least 8 MP at the back and a 5 MP front shooter. The battery should be a 5000 to 7000 mAh unit and we should also get a Full HD or Quad HD resolution on an IPS LCD panel. Quad speakers would also be nice, but I can’t quite guarantee it. The biggest curiosity I have is if this device is a rebranded MatePad with some component tweaks or not…
I expect a price closer to $500 on account of the 5G/WiFi 6 thing.
