Samsung was supposed to rock the lower priced tablet sub-segment with a WiFi-only Galaxy Tab, but they kept delaying the project. Now we finally have a launch date, April 4th and a very appealing price, $399. This means that you can forget about 3G for a while and also ignore that hot Galaxy Tab 10.1 we’ve seen at MWC 2011.

The WiFi-only Galaxy Tab was promised to debut in Q1 2011, sporting the usual 7 inch display and Android 2.2, but right now we’re more anxious to see the 8.9 inch model that will be unveiled at CTIA 2011, at the end of the month. Considering the tablet flow that will come with CTIA, this Galaxy Tab version will be the least of our concerns…
