A bit over a week following the announcement of the iPad 2, the device is ready to hit the shops today, March 11th. This is a big day for Apple and now we have the carrier pricing to go with this launch. Verizon and AT&T will be selling the new tablet in the States and they seem to adopt the same prices, this time.
You’ll be paying $629 for the 16GB version (WiFi + 3G) on both carriers, while the 32GB one costs $729 and the 64GB one goes for $829. Verizon has a more varied offer, as far as monthly plans are concerned. These don’t require a contract, so you’ll pay $20 for 1GB, $35 for 3GB, $50 for 5GB and $80 for 10GB.
AT&T only offers two monthly options: $14.99 for 250MB and $25 for 2GB. We remind you that the iPad 2 packs a dual core A5 processor and it’s even thinner than the iPhone 4 at 8.8mm. Will you get one today?
