Chuwi debuted a new tablet this week, one that sounds like a bit of a powerhouse for those who have to work and game on the go. It’s the Chuwi Hi9 Air model we’re talking about, that features a MediaTek Helio X20 processor and 4G LTE. Let’s check it out below.
This is supposed to be the first device to support WorldMode LTE 4G from the company’s lineup. It also lets you use two SIM cards, so it’s a dual SIM tablet with LTE Category 6 support. It’s got all the bands one would need internationally and it relies on the raw force of a MediaTek Helio X20 CPU, a 64 bit deca core chipset clocked up to 2.1 GHz. It can handle games, Office tasks and video watching.
Power consumption is also optimized for the best usage time. 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage are also here, plus a 10.1 inch IPS display with a generous 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. The display is fully laminated and uses OGS technology, for more vibrant colors. The slate has a metal body and it measures 8.2 mm in thickness. Available in Space Gray, among other hues it seems to integrate the back camera into a sort of notch, unusual as that may sound.
We don’t have a price just yet, but it should appear soon. If you ask me, anything below $250 is solid gold.
