The list of China-made tablets continues, with a new Shanzhai model pictured below. Meet the WoPad, an iPad clone that resembles more an enlarged iPhone 4. The tablet comes with a 1GHz Samsung pv210 chip and a 7 inch 800 x 480 pixel capacitive touchscreen.

512MB RAM and 1GB of flash storage complete the specs list, together with a 3000mAh battery and Android 2.2 Froyo. WoPad measures 197 x 125 x 14.5mm and we have no info about the price or availability right now. Considering the detailed review of the product, we’re guessing it’s pretty close to reaching the stores.

Ok, more reviews about a device NOT yet for sale, with no details on pricing or availability. YAWN.

What about the many lower-cost Android tablets already offered for sale? Some are on sale here in the USA, some in the UK or France, and many more are now available through importing sites, from China.

There are a huge number of these in the $99 to $199 range, yet almost none have reviews. Surely some list of reviewed products must exist?

Maybe this website could offer more reviews of these currently available – but somehow totally ignored – devices?
