We keep telling you about the incoming new iPads, 4 of them apparently and one of the lesser covered units is the so called “iPad Mini Pro”. This model will basically take all the cool attributes of the iPad Pro and miniaturize them.
The other iPads are the brand new 10.5 incher, the iPad Pro 2 with a 12.9 inch diagonal and the 9.7 inch more affordable model. According to a Greek retailer the fourth model is the iPad Mini new generation unit. Previously rumored as the iPad Mini 5, this newcomer has a Pro attached to the name. The same source calls the new 9.7 inch iPad a Pro model as well, in spite of being a “budget” affair.
The 7.9 incher though is going to probably offer Apple Pencil support, possibly also support a smart connector and maybe 4 speakers. We certainly expect a CPU bump, maybe to the Apple A10, if not the new A10X, more RAM, better camera and other goodies. Apple is expected to hold a press conference either next week or in April and we’ll learn more then.
