Some of you may not remember the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 as a special tablet, but I do. It has one of the most solid tablet batteries I’ve tested, on account of achieving a huge result in PCMark. Now the device has received a price cut, down to $265, available in USA.
Amazon has the 16 GB model at this price, available in white and only with WiFi. Listed at $264.90 on the retailer’s site, this sum is $35 less than the usual asking price of $300. Powered by a quad core 1.2 GHz chipset and sporting a 1024 x 768 pixel screen, the model also gets 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a 5 megapixel main shooter and 2 MP front cam.
There’s a 6000 mAh battery on board and the preinstalled Microsoft apps are a nifty added bonus. The screen is bright, the speakers are loud and there was no lag when we tested the device. It could also run any game from the Play Store then. We criticized its high price and well, that’s no longer a problem, so feel free to purchase it here.
