Apple has a special segment of certified refurbished products on its official site and it includes iPad Mini models, but also the iPad Pro. This is a new addition to the refurbished list, seeing how it’s a product that’s a bit less than a year old.
Apple’s biggest tablet gets discounts of around $160 or so, on the “Certified Refurbished ” list, making the slate more appealing. Retailers are already discounting their own models, possibly on account of a new version being prepared. Anyway, Apple’s refurbs come with 1 year warranty, a new battery and a new outer shell.
The iPad Pro 12.9 inch starts at $679 for the 32 GB storage model (WiFi), which is a discount of $120. The discount is $140 for the 128 GB model with WiFi, that goes for $809 and finally the 128 GB Cellular and WiFi unit goes for $919, after a $160 discount. All 3 versions come in gold, silver and space gray. It would make a fine product for the back to school period.
