The Apple iPad Pro was announced early last month and it has yet to hit the stores, but today we get a hint of that release. The big screen slate was supposed to debut in November and today we’ve found out it has received FCC approval.
The FCC database has this model listed as approved by the telecom agency on the 15th of October. Registered under model number “A1652”, the device appears in both WiFi and LTE iterations. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2 support and WiFi standards 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and also does LTE Cat 4, allowing for a top download speed of up to 150 Mbps and upload of up to 50 Mbps.
Obviously, the listing doesn’t reveal very clear hardware specs, which is typical for Apple. An early November launch is speculated right now, so keep tight for another 2 or 3 weeks. The iPad Pro will be priced starting at $799 for the 32 GB WiFi model, while the cellular one will cost $1079. The device comes in silver, gold and space gray and brings an Apple A9X processor, a 12.9 inch screen with 2732 x 2048 pixel resolution and 8 megapixel back camera.
