Lenovo has debuted a new mega phablet, that’s closer to a tablet rather than a phone. Dubbed Lenovo Phab Plus, this device is a 6.8 inch handset, with dual SIM slots and LTE connectivity.
It will be available exclusively in China, via the carriers China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile. Its price tag is around $407 and in spite of the huge diagonal, this is a pretty slim design, with a slight iPhone 6 Plus allure. It offers a Full HD resolution and comes with a metal chassis, that was manufactured using CNC cutting processes.
Inside there’s a 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset, paired with an Adreno 405 GPU, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot in the mix, dual SIM slots too and LTE connectivity. AT the back we find a 13 MP shooter, with an OmniVision sensor and dual LED flash, while upfront there’s a 5 MP selfie cam. Dolby Atmos acoustics are available here, plus GPS, dual band WiFi and Bluetooth.
The handset measures 7.6 mm in thickness.
