A new tablet announced today by the Indian company LAVA is also the Xtrom Mega, a 10.1-inch slate that comes with pretty mid-range specs. This new device will arrive on the market in black, but the price is still unknown for the moment.

In terms of specs, Xtrom Mega brings us a 10.1-inch Multi-touch IPS display that offers a 1.280 x 800 pixels resolution, a quad-core Actiom ATM7029B processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card.

There’s also dual-SIM with dual-standby support, a 2-megapixel rear camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and a microUSB v2.0 port. LAVA Xtrom Mega runs Android 4.2 JellyBean operating system and offers a 6.000 mAh battery.
