After an avalanche of iPhone 6 leaks, it appears we can feast our eyes on something else this time: the iPad 6. Also dubbed iPad Air 2, this model has been pictured in a few shots, in prototype phase. Actually, this is a dummy unit, if our French source is correct.
The product seems to weigh 484 grams, it integrates a Touch ID fingerprint scanner and it doesn’t include the lock button that’s usually placed next to the volume buttons. Speaking of which, the volume buttons are now integrated into a special cavity on the side. I also spotted the speakers in the Lightning port area, that are now slightly bigger than before. Speculations say that the slate will have an 8 megapixel camera, Apple A8 processor and probably more RAM.
It would also be high time for Apple to update the screen resolution, since they can’t keep delivering the same Retina experience over and over again. Not that it’s not good or anything, but there are at least a dozen Chinese companies offering the same thing already… What are your expectations for the iPad 6?
