The Lenovo ThinkPad 10 tablet is a Windows-based model, that’s supposed to be launched soon, but exactly when we didn’t know till today. It appears that this model with one of the fastest Intel Atom CPUs available will come on May 14th.
The product packs support for digital pen input and up to 128 GB of built in storage. The device has been appearing here and there on the web and now we also have a launch date. The latest version of the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablets and Convertibles product specification reference guide lists this date as the announcement time for a few configurations of the ThinkPad 10. The document also mentions specs like a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display with 170 degree view angles, plus an Intel Atom Z3795 quad core CPU with Intel HD 4600 graphics.
There’s support for finger and digital pen input and optional keyboard or touch cases. Finally we’ve got an 8 MP back shooter and a front 2 megapixel camera, while the battery inside is a 33 Whr unit. The Lenovo ThinkPad 10 tablet includes enterprise features and optional TPM security, as well as fingerprint sensors, plus Lenovo will offer models with either Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Pro software. You can go up to 128 GB in storage and up to 4 GB in RAM and its battery provides up to 10 hours of run time.
