It appears the iPhone 5s is not the only item available in space gray, since a few iPad 5 shells leaked on the web this week adopt the same color. The iPhone 5s has been selling in gold, space gray and silver for a few days and now we’re getting ready for the new slates.
The leak here comes from the prolific leakster Sonny Dickson, who published these shots on the web. Apparently, there’s an October event coming to deliver us the new tablets: iPad Mini 2 and the iPad 5. Visually, these leaked parts match the previous ones, with the iPad Mini allure, compact shell and all that.
Dickson also has leaks of iPad 5 parts in silver and I expect gold to be part of the initial launch colors, too. Taking into account the improvements brought by the iPhone 5s, the iPad 5 is expected to have a new CPU, maybe a slimmer case and perhaps a camera enhancement.
