It’s interesting that some devices run Android 4.2.2, yet they lack one of its major features. That also happened to a previous Jelly Bean release that didn’t bring Face Unlock to all devices. Now the Galaxy Tab 3 device owners are missing out on multi user functionality.
That’s expected to come to the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1, but only via a software update. The screenshot shown here confirms the function will come and it can come to these devices. We’re not sure what else the update will include, aside from this feature and probably aside from the usual performance enhancements.
No idea when the update rolls out or in how many stages that will happen. I guess that since Android 4.2.2 isn’t completely available on these devices with all its features, it’s hard to imagine Android 4.3 would come anytime soon…
