Mlais is what they call a “Chinese phablet specialist”, that has announced a 7 inch tablet, available on the 28th of July. The MX70 is supposed to be a large phablet rather than a tablet, apparently.
This is a $160 slate with dual SIM support and a bit of a surprise: a 13 megapixel camera. This mega phablet packs a 7 inch 1280 x 720 IPS screen and under its hood we find a 4000 mAh battery. There’s a physical Home button in the mix here and the tablet is designed to be used in portrait mode apparently.
The brain of the device is a quad core Mediatek MT8389 chipset with a 1.2 GHz frequency and other specs include 1 GB of RAM and a front 2 MP camera. There’s 8 GB of storage here and the device measures 9.4 mm in thickness. How do you feel about a 7 inch phablet? How about the price? And that crazy good camera?!
