The ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 is the 10.1 inch Intel-based tablet that ASUS debuted at Computex 2013, early next month. Luckily we’re getting acquainted to the device these days and while we can’t show you much yet (NDA), there’s a big and juicy review and unboxing coming on Sunday, July 21st.
The slate was introduced in August and it’s a 10.1 inch slate with an IPS panel with a Full HD resolution. The CPU inside is an Intel Atom Z2560, a 1.6 GHz dual core Clover Trail+ unit with Intel Hyper Threading technology. We’ve got stereo speakers on board with SonicMaster technology, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The device also offers a 1.2 MP front camera and a 5 MP back shooter without flash, but with Full HD video capture.
ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 measures 9.5 mm in thickness and weighs 580 grams, so it’s rather light. Its battery is a Li-Polymer unit, that should provide about 10 hours of functioning time. The device will be available in blue, white and pink pretty soon, although more will be revealed in the review on Sunday, price included. The slate comes with Android 4.2 and most of the cool apps that the FonePad had on. We’ll be back with more soon!
