The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is now up for pre-order in the UK, with a starting price of $600. The Sony Store website offers 3 versions of the product listed, but only the WiFi units have prices. The 16 GB WiFi (SGP311) Xperia Tablet Z goes for $600, while the 32 GB is a bit more pricy.
Both units come in black, but the 32 GB version will also have a white version. If you add the Xperia Tablet Z to the basket right now, you’ll get a delivery date between 12 April and 15 April, earlier than expected. There’s no price tag for the LTE 16 GB unit just yet. There are plenty of reasons to get excited about this device, one of them being the incredible thickness, only 6.9 mm.
The product weighs 495 grams and features a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel display (LCD), a 6000 mAh battery and a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU at 1.5 GHz. There’s also an Adreno 320 GPU on board, 32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and an 8 megapixel camera with BSI and CMOS image sensor.
