Pyle audio is a company that handles car entertainment/audio systems and today they unveiled a tablet-like thingie, a 10.1 inch in dash touchscreen Bluetooth/DVD receiver. The product comes with the codename PLD10BT and it’s a motorized and fully detachable display from the front screen panel.
The screen is adjustable for best viewing and it features the last position memory so it can adjust itself to the ideal position. Integrated Bluetooth technology is also here, allowing the driver to stream tunes from his handset to the infotainment system. Music streaming is supported from both iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth.
The system is compatible with VCD, MPEG4, MP3, DivX, CD and CDRW, plus it has an auxiliary audio/video line input jack, that supports connection with other devices. The receiver included here has a 30 station memory and offers support for auto store and preset scans for convenience while driving. There’s also a wireless remote control, that allows you to control every function. The 10.1 inch screen is detachable, turning into a tablet and supports a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. The price tag is $284.
