The Indian market is one of the most important sources for profit and most manufacturer are designing products especially for this market alone. It is the case with Nokia and its Asha line of devices and with Samsung, a manufacturer that does not leave anything to chance.

The new tablet device from Samsung in the Note line – Galaxy Note 8.0 was rumored long before the MWC and we even got a hands-on with it. It is very good looking and packs quite a punch in terms of the hardware configuration so it´s no disappointment to the Galaxy Note line-up by any means. The tablet has now been officially introduced with the occasion of the MWC and is expected to hit as many markets as possible in a short time. In India the tablet has been launched with a different naming.

Just after the MWC in Barcelona, at the 2013 Samsung Forum in India the manufacturer announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 as Galaxy Note 510 for the Indian market. Its features are exactly the same as the original model for the European market, with a quad-core 1.6 Ghz Exynos chip, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 5MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G with voice calling support, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, S Pen support and 4600mAh battery. The tablet is expected to be priced and available at the end of this month for India.
