It seems to be a trend these days to adopt the Samsung Exynos CPU on a tablet and sell the product for a reasonable price. That’s the case of the company Ramos, who is selling a new 9.4 inch slate with aluminum case, the device being dubbed Ramos W42. Inside it we find a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 quad core CPU with Mali 400 graphics.

Basically, the “guts” of the Samsung Galaxy S III are integrated into a reasonably priced slate, the Ramos W42. The product goes for $247, sold on retailer PandaWill. Other stores even reach prices as low as $218. Ramos W42 has 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and a 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles. There’s also a capacitive touchscreen on board with 10 point multitouch support, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel rear camera, as well as a 0.3 MP front cam.

The W42 slate has 7 inch display and a 5400 mAh battery, that should provide a pretty impressive 6 to 7 hours of functioning time. Finally, there’s also a microSD card slot on board, a microUSB port and Android 4.0.4 as the OS. The product will ship with 12 months of limited warranty.
