Acer recently unveiled it’s Windows 8 running Iconia W700 packing an impressive 11.6-inch full HD 1920×1080 pixels touchscreen display that should make everything perfectly clear. Moving forward the manufacturer now unveiled it’s next Windows 8 hybrid – the Iconia W510.
Acer Iconia 510 offers the best of both the mobile and the PC worlds. It is very thin and lightweight while packing a hardware configuration that includes a fast Intel CPU. Intel’s 1.5GHz Clover Trail CPU should offer very good performance coupled with increased battery life. The 2GB of RAM will more than suffice for multitasking and the 10.1-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1,366 x 768 resolution is one of the highlights of the device.
The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front image sensor. Both can record video in Full HD 1080p format. An optional dock can be purchased for $150 that is both a keyboard and an extra battery that will double your battery life to 18 total hours. You can also fold it up to 295 degrees and use the device for presentations. The device weighs just 1.27 pounds and is just just 0.35 of an inch thin. The connectivity options include a microHDMI port and a micro USB port.
The Iconia W510 will be available starting Nov. 9 in 32 and 64GB versions for $499.99 and $599.99.
