The Summer Olympics 2012 taking place in London are very close and with them there will be a bunch of interesting devices to keep an eye on. Among them there’s the Samsung Galaxy S III, rumored to be tied in with the event and the Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition, with a name that speaks by itself. Now, the product just got a pricing and it started selling, so it retails for $450.
This is an Android 4.0 ICS slate with an Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset that’s available for the price mentioned above on Amazon or the Acer Store. At the back there are 5 rings that symbolize the Olympics logo and they’re engraved so they stand for the sporting event this summer. You can select between the black or white shades and it appears that the former is the only one that ships right now. The rest of the hardware specs for the Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition are also pretty nifty.
They include 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 1280 x 800 pixel display and a 5 megapixel camera at the back, plus a 1 megapixel camera at the front. Acer Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition is supposed to give you a marathon of 12 hours of functioning time, so it’s a very appealing offer.
