Lenovo has just announced a trio of new tablets, that includes a Galaxy Note rival with a 5 inch screen, known as the LePad/IdeaTab S2005 tablet/phone hybrid. There’s also a 7 incher unit that goes as the LePad S2007 and a 10 incher called S2010. They will be launched in December, according to Engadget Chinese.

The Lenovo LePad S2007 and S2010 will be available with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM and their displays will support a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. In the meantime, we remind you that Lenovo is also prepping a quad core Tegra 3 tablet, the IdeaTab K2, that was leaked weeks ago. The above-mentioned slates get an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 1.3MP front cam, plus 3G support and the promise that they will work on China Unicom’s WCDMA and China Telecom’s EV-DO network.

The Lenovo LePad S2007 gets a 3,780 mAh battery, that provides 8 hours of WiFi use and the entire device measures a mere 9.7mm in thickness, while weighing in at 360 grams. The S2010 is obviously bigger, at 9.9mm in waistline and it also packs a 7,670 mAh battery, that provides 11 hours of use. The LePad S2005 is the real star here, since it adopts an original form factor that’s not used very often these days: a 5 inch diagonal and the functions of a hybrid between phone and tablet.

It runs Android 2.3.5, relies on a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm CPU, plus 1GB of RAM and has a 5 inch 800 x 480 pixel display. A 5MP cam rounds up the specs list of this Galaxy Note and Dell Streak rival. The size is 9.95mm in thickness and the device weighs 198 grams. Which one of these interests you the most?
