Tonight is a big night for Romanian e-tailer eMag.ro, who organized an event to celebrate the arrival of no less than 10 popular tablet models on the local market, according to Mobilissimo.ro. East European country Romania will get the Motorola Xoom, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Acer Iconia A500, Acer Iconia W500, Samsung Galaxy Tab P1010, BlackBerry PlayBook and a couple more.

eMag has been offering locally the iPad 2 for a while now and the sales have been great, especially the first batch, that sold out very fast. Thus, in order to bring forth some competition, we’re witnessing the arrival of slates running QNX, Honeycomb and Win 7. Making a roundup, most of the newcomers are Tegra 2 models with Android 3.0 on board, so this OS will quickly gain traction in Romania, a pretty good market for Android devices so far…
