Xolo is famous for being the first company to launch a handset with Intel CPU inside and now they’re prepping to enter the tablet market with a model simply called Tab. This product has 3G and voice calling and it will come with a $206 price tag.
The product features an 8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225Q quad core CPU at 1.2 GHz. There’s also 1 GB of RAM on board, an Adreno 203 GPU, 4 GB of storage (2.5 GB user accessible), a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB and a 2 megapixel rear camera.
There’s a VGA front shooter with support for 3G video calls and the device is able to play back HD videos easily. As far as connectivity goes, there’s WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, voice calling and a 4000 mAh battery, that’s supposed to offer up to 12 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby time on 3G.
