Xiaomi has a big event on November 24th, that has been speculated by many as associated to the Redmi Note 2 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 5. In fact the biggest unveiling is the one of the slate Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, that got teased today.
Xiaomi President Lin Bin posted the teaser above, that shows a mere corner of the next Mi Pad tablet. This device has been a topic of rumors ever since December last year, so it’s been a long time coming. Judging by the picture, it’s a slim unibody metal tablet, with a design that makes it look like a skinnier Nokia N1 of sorts.
It has a main camera without a flash, but with a microphone next to it and another mic at the top of the back. We don’t have a clear specs list, but judging by the leaks, the Mi Pad 2 will have an Intel chipset, accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The screen is expected to be a 7.9 inch affair, with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, just like the original Mi Pad.
