Xiaomi is preparing a new laptop for launch this month, on the 23rd, as their Mi Notebook Air series is about to get bigger. They’ve already sent out invites for the product’s debut, so it’s a sure deal. The invite goes as far as to also show an image of the device from the side.

The keyboard and ports seem pretty much the same as the ones of the normal model, at least on the right side that’s pictured here. There’s still something important to notice, like a 4G logo on the screen, plus the China Mobile logo next to the Xiaomi one. This means that there will be a 4G version of the Notebook Air and that’s only one of the changes we expect.

The 4G Mi Notebook Air could end up a 12.5 incher or a 13 incher, or maybe even a completely new size, so we have to wait and see. The build seems metallic and solid, plus quite slim. We expect at least a Full HD resolution, if not more, 8 GB of RAM (or more) and SSD storage in versions like 256 GB or 512 GB. The battery of the predecessor was excellent, so it’ll be hard to improve.

The price should be around $800 or so, this is my prediction.
