The Xiaomi Tablet is no stranger to leaks and we’ve seen it a few times, but it was a mysterious appearance every time. This is supposed to be an Android tablet and it’s no coincidence that it has an iPad Mini vibe, because it has a diagonal close to it.
The Xiaomi MiPad will be similar in design to the Apple 7.9 incher and it will feature a plastic or metal body, a 720p display and a Snapdragon 400 processor. 4G LTE will also be here, as well as an Adreno GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and an 8 megapixel back camera. For some reason Android 4.3 and not KitKat was chosen here.
As far as I know this is a 7+ inch tablet, but the diagonal may end up being a bit bigger. Xiaomi has a press event scheduled for April 23rd in Beijing, so they may launch the slate there. I wonder why they chose such a powerful camera and a not very impressive processor…
