Motorola is taking stepa to address the situation, after poor sales of the Xoom and Atrix devices. One of them would be spreading the WiFi only Xoom around, with the tablet being already available in Canada, via Future Shop and Best Buy, priced at $599.99. However, this is still a bit too much to pay, considering there are quite a bunch of laptops that cost half of that amount.

The Xoom is the first Honeycomb tablet, a 10.1 inch slate with a dual core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Aside from that, you get a 5MP camera, HDMI out, WiFi b/g/n and GPS, if you’re interested. There’s always an iPad 2 or the soon to come Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9, if you want alternatives.

You can purchase the WiFi Xoom from Future Shop here and Best Buy here.
