In spite of being a huge brand already, Vivo has kept itself far from tablets, just like its other sister brands from BBK, Oppo and OnePlus. Now Vivo could well launch its first tablet, according to a rumor that hints at the debut taking place tomorrow, during the launch of the Vivo X60 Pro+ phone.

Last year Vivo trademarked a few products under its brand, NEX and iQOO plus a few more. A new brand called Pad may surface tomorrow, as the Vivo Pad becomes Vivo’s first tablet. Sadly, we don’t know much about it, since the company has successfully avoided leaks so far. There’s speculation about its naming pattern, with proposals like iQOO Pad and NEXPAD thrown in the ring. Certain Vivo Book and NEXBOOK certifications have appeared online. Vivo is also a stranger to laptop, so that’s another premiere to look forward to.

The source also notes that tablets and 2 in 1 devices are getting more popular on account of the pandemic, so we may see them more often from companies like these. 5G may also be in the picture for the new tablet and an iQOO branding automatically means it’s a gaming device. It could end up with an 8, 9 or 10 inch screen, a 90 or 120 Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon CPU. It could even include the new Exynos 1080 CPU, inaugurated by Vivo for some reason, since the company is cozy with Samsung.

The latest OriginOS should be on board, that’s what we know for sure.
