After seeing the Oppo tablet leaked this week and also know a lot about the upcoming Realme Pad tablet, we’re also getting some intel on the Vivo Tablet, to keep the whole BBK package clear. Vivo is actually doing great, being the number one smartphone maker in China right now.

Their slate is expected to drop in Q1 2022, if all goes well. The info comes from Vivo’s Executive Vice President, Hu Baishan, who revealed that the company is prepping to launch its own ISP chip, the Vivo V1 next month. He also confirmed the company’s tablet. Vivo already confirmed earlier this year that it will enter the tablet PC segment in Q4 2021, but it may have been postponed.

There were also reports about its sub-brand iQOO entering the scene, perhaps with a gaming tablet. It had already registered trademarks for devices dubbed NEX Book, iQOO Book, iQOO Pad and Vivo Pad. The Vivo Pad trademark was registered in Europe in June. My thinking is that both Vivo and Oppo are inspired by Xiaomi’s recent return to the tablet market, with the Mi Pad 5 models.

That means they’re going to launch large screen, high refresh rate devices with the best Qualcomm CPUs money can buy. Fast charging and quad speakers should also be present.
