Vivo is gearing up to launch its next flagship tablet, the Vivo Pad 4 Pro, alongside the highly anticipated X200 Ultra smartphone. The device is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, potentially debuting in China before expanding to other markets.

The Vivo Pad 4 Pro is expected to be a direct successor to last year’s Pad 3 Pro, but leaks suggest that Vivo might skip the number “4” in the naming convention due to cultural reasons. The latest reports hint at some impressive hardware upgrades.

According to leaks, the Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13-inch LCD display with a crisp 3.1K resolution. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, which should make it a strong contender in the high-end tablet space.

Camera-wise, the Pad 4 Pro is expected to sport a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing sensor, which should be sufficient for video calls and casual photography. The battery is where things get really interesting—leaks suggest a massive 12,000mAh battery, complemented by 66W fast charging for quick top-ups.

Rumors suggest that the Vivo Pad 4 Pro could launch around the same time as the Vivo X200 Ultra, Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone. The X200 Ultra is rumored to feature a dedicated action button, similar to Apple’s Action Button on the iPhone, and could be powered by either the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ or Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, depending on the final configuration. The device is also expected to offer up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB of internal storage, making it one of the most powerful smartphones Vivo has ever launched.

Vivo’s move to refresh its premium tablet lineup comes at a time when competitors like Oppo are also making similar plays. Oppo is set to launch its own Pad 4 Pro powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite in India, signaling that flagship tablets are becoming an increasingly competitive segment.

With a large high-resolution display, flagship-tier chipset, and a massive battery, the Vivo Pad 4 Pro could position itself as a serious rival to premium tablets from Apple, Samsung, and OnePlus. If the leaks are accurate, we could see an official launch as early as next month in China.
