Viewsonic ViewPad V10e is yet another tablet from the prolific maker Viewsonic, one that’s both affordable and modern in specs. This 9.7 inch device was just released for advertisement and it should come to the Netherlands and UK soon.

The device uses a 9.7 inch touchscren display with a resolution of 1024 x 768, just like the TouchPad and iPad 2. There’s also a 1.3 megapixel camera upfront and the chassis is a mere 9.9mm thick. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is the OS of choice, while the rest of the hardware remains a mystery. Bluetooth and WiFi are also confirmed, but you probably already knew that.

ViewSonic claims that this product is coming soon, but we have no idea how soon. Its price tag is $340, very reasonable for this kind of tablet, especially if it ever gets the Honeycomb or even ICS update.

Honeycomb sucks. It has a nasty two year old bug, regarding browser input lag, unsolved. It is impossible to write a comment in a form like I’m doing now, without many mistakes and missed keystrokes. So Gingerbread hasn’t got this bug and I can write without mistakes. The bug is officialy on Google code page, bu it stays unsolved.
Hope that Viewsonic is better than Neura….
