Sometimes Chinese device makers offer excellent specs for very low prices and firms like Ulefone have done that a couple of times over the past year. Now the Ulefone Be Touch 2 model brings some appealing hardware for a price lower than $200. The device gets a great price on retailer EverBuying, but let’s first see the specs.
Ulefone’s handset is a 5.5 incher, with a Full HD IPS OGS panel and 2.5D glass. It also gets Gorilla Glass 3 protection and inside the smartphone there’s an octa core MediaTek MT6752 processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz and accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and dual SIM slots. Also on board there’s a microSD card slot, LTE, a 13 megapixel main camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and a 5 MP selfie shooter.
The battery here is a 3050 mAh unit with Quick Charging technology and the OS is Android 5.1 Lollipop, running in a stock version from the looks of it. Interestingly enough, the main camera of the Ulefone Be Touch 2 offer F/1.8 aperture, which is something very rare on modern smartphones. The device also packs a fingerprint scanner integrated within a round Home button upfront.
The metal frame and solid build are selling points for this unit, that goes for $198.88 on EverBuying, but only if you use the code BT2EB. This brings you as extras a 32 GB microSD card, a TPU case and a tempered glass film, as well as 2 years warranty. There’s also the $172.99 version, without the extras and available using the EBUlefone promo code.
