Ulefone is taking its rugged tablet lineup into overkill territory with the new Armor Pad 5 Series, a pair of ultra-durable Android slates built around one headline feature: a gigantic 24,200mAh battery. Starting from today, the tablet is available online!

The lineup includes the Armor Pad 5 Ultra, which adds a full DLP projector to the mix, and the more traditional Armor Pad 5 Pro, which keeps the hardware but skips the projection system.

The main story here is the battery. At 24,200mAh, the Armor Pad 5 Series comes closer to a power station than a tablet. Ulefone says the Ultra can run its projector for 10 hours and 3 minutes straight at 50 percent brightness and volume, dropping to just 5 percent battery at the end of the test. Do the math and you get roughly five full-length movies on a single charge.

And when that enormous cell finally needs juice, 120W Flash Charging kicks in to keep downtime minimal. You can even reverse-charge other devices, turning the tablet into an oversized rugged power bank.

The Armor Pad 5 Ultra is the standout thanks to its built-in 200-lumen DLP projector—not something you see often even in mainstream tablets. It supports auto-focus and includes a small cooling fan so it can handle long sessions without overheating.

It’s not here to replace a home theater, but for presentations, campsite movies, or projecting a map on a wall during field work, the idea makes sense—especially paired with that battery.

As expected, both models are fully ruggedized, meeting MIL-STD-810H standards for drops, dust, and water. The designs follow Ulefone’s usual industrial look, with reinforced corners, thick bezels, exposed screws, and a built-in metal handle stand that doubles as a kickstand.

The lighting is surprisingly elaborate: dual LED lamps and dual warning lights on the back, which can function as work lights or emergency flashers.

Inside, the Armor Pad 5 Ultra and 5 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X platform—mid-range but efficient—and you get 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with room to expand. Streaming support includes Widevine L1 certification, so Netflix and other platforms will play in full HD, and each tablet runs Android 15 out of the box.
