Canonical just offered some details regarding its upcoming tablet, the Ubuntu-based model BQ Aquaris M10. Apparently, it will be up for purchase soon, after being unveiled early last month.
BQ Aquaris M10 was also showcased at MWC 2016 and it’s going to be sold via the BQ Store. You can get notified via email when the product arrives if yu sign in here, by the way. This model is a 10.1 inch slate with a MediaTek quad core MT8163M processor, at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot in the mix, front spekars and a an 8 MP main camera.
The tablet measures 8.2 mm in thickness, weighs 470 grams and has a micro HDMI port, plus GPS and a 7280 mAh battery. The pricing is $290.90 and BQ will bring the product to Europe and USA. The platform available here is the latest Ubuntu mobile OS, letting users run X11 apps, including Firefox or GIMP.
