What’s priced at $150 and meant to entertain your kids? Why, it’s the Toys R Us Tabeo e2 kids tablet, that will launch on Monday. Toys R Us are saying that its latest Android slate for kids will be available in stores soon, starting online sales on October 14th.

The Tabeo e2 is an 8 inch slate with a dual core CPU, quad core GPU and Android 4.2 as the software. The slate is meant for kids and it comes with a protective case, educational apps and games preinstalled and the tabeo App Store, instead of the Google Play Store. The product features 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a 2 MP front camera.

There’s also a 0.3 MP rear camera, unless the press release we saw has the camera resolutions reversed. There’s WiFi and Bluetooth support on board and the 8 inch screen supports a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution. We’ve got a HDMI port on board, a microSD card slot with support for up to 64 GB of storage and a battery that should provide you with 5 hours of run time.

Of course, there’s also parental filtering software in the mix here.
