Japanese device maker Toshiba has made official a new tablet, the REGZA model AT374/28K, that stands out as an entry level unit with a Rockchip processor inside.
The device has a 7 inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and it’s powered by a 1.6 GHz Rockchip RK3188 quad core processor. There’s a Mali 400 MP GPU inside, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. To that we add a microSD card slot and the Toshiba REGZA Tablet AT374/28K integrates a VGA front camera and a 3 MP Back shooter.
On the connectivity side we get WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 and Toshiba has also partnered with SRS and equipped the device with SRS Audio Enhancement technology for stereo speakers. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it measures 10.9 mm in thickness. The product will debut in Japan on November 22nd with a price tag of about $300.
