It seems that recently, the FCC center tested one of the first Firefox OS tablets that could arrive soon on the US market. This could be the InFocus New Tab F1 tablet, a device showed off last month.
The InFocus company it’s known better as a projectors producer rather than a tablet manufacturer. The InFocus F1 tablet it’s already available on other markets but it comes with Android OS. This Firefox OS version packs a 10.1 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, an Allwinner A31 ARM Corex-A7 quad-core processor and a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU.
We also have 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the conectivity part we have an microUSB port and a microSD card slot. InFocus F1 comes with stereo speakers, A-GPS and a 7000 mAh battery.
