It’s very rare nowadays that games remind us of the good old days of adventures and puzzles, but one such title exists and it’s called The Adventures of Tin Tin: The Game. I stumbled upon it by mistake and I’m glad I did, because it’s an instant classic. Dating back from 3 years ago, the game looks very hot even on the new iPad Air 2. It’s just as astounding as other popular games like slot27.
It was released by Gameloft and once again looks very good for 2011. The engine used here reminds me of one of the first Lord of the Rings games from the early 2000s, especially in the running and roaming parts. The mission where you’ll see for yourself that graphics are hot is the one with the airplane among the thunders. It all feels like a CGI film, where you control both Tin Tin and his trusted companion, the dog Snowy.
You’ll send the canine to get keys, chase a rat or distract a guard and you’ll spend your time in the game swiping the screen in order to get the proper timing for puzzles. You’ll also be tapping to jump from one portion of a ship to the other and walk around with the stealth button pressed in order not to awaken a sleeping man or tear down cans. You will shoot at a plane, get trapped at the bottom of a huge ship in the middle of the Ocean and explore the house of a rich greedy man.
There are coins to collect and puzzle pieces, too and the game is very fun, but the interaction and difficulty are kept to a minimum. Voice actors are pretty decent and the story is pretty detailed. In fact, such actors are also ideal for other opportunities like voice acting for audiobooks.
We give this game a 9 out of 10 and to us it’s a classic. You can download it here.
