UK supermarket retailer Tesco has just launched its very own tablet, the Hudl, pictured below. This is a 7 inch model with Android Jelly Bean on board and a 119 quid price tag.
There’s a 1.5 GHz processor on board and its specs include a 7 inch 1440 x 900 pixel display, 16 GB of storage and a battery life that’s supposed to reach 9 ours. The CPU here is a quad core one of unknown origin, but my guess would be MediaTek or Qualcomm. We’ve got Android 4.2.2 as the OS with access to the Google Play Store, plus a variety of Tesco services.
Via the Tesco services and apps you’ll be able to check your account status, place an order and do other stuff related to your account. I bet you can also buy stuff via Tesco or manage your purchases and track their evolution. Let’s see other retailers launching their own slates now…
