It appears we’ve got a trifecta of 64 bit Intel tablets with Android this week, with the latest being the Teclast X98, after Onda and Neso came up yesterday. The newcomer is 3G device with an Intel Atom Z3735D CPU.

We’re dealing with a quad core CPU slate, that packs a 9.7 inch Retina Display and is priced at just $223. Other specs include Bluetooth, GPS, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The Teclast X98 model runs Android 4.4.2, has Intel HD graphics and an aluminum shell that looks pretty solid. The screen is an IPS LCD and there’s a dual camera on board, with a 5 MP back cam and a front 2 MP shooter.

Play Store is supported, Bluetooth 4.0 is enabled and we’ve got a pretty good 8500 mAh battery. The battery life is estimated at around 5 to 6 hours, which doesn’t quite sound impressive to be honest. The device measures 8.2 mm in thickness, weighs 602 grams and also bundles a SIM card slot.
