There’s a new tablet in town, the Teclast T40 Plus model, which just went on sale on AliExpress. Priced at $219.91, the device was unveiled recently and it’s a pretty well specced slate with a 2K display.
The device does rely on the increasingly popular Unisoc CPU, which we’ve also heard associated with a future Nokia tablet, the T20. We’re dealing here with a 10.4 inch 2K in cell display tablet with a Unisoc Tiger T618 processor, 8 GB of RAM and support for 4G LTE. The tablet uses a T-Color 2.0 colour algorithm for improved image saturation and crisp image quality.
The screen provides 350 nits of maximum brightness and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It also has quad speakers for great acoustics. All of those are crammed within a dual tone body. It runs on Android 11 and also uses a 6600 mAh battery. The Unisoc T618 processor is an octa core 12 nm unit, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, plus microSD. There’s also a Mali-G52 3EE GPU, which provides a powerful gaming experience.
As far as the camera is concerned, the Teclast T40 Plus involves an 8 megapixel main sensor at the back and also a 5 MP snapper on the front. This is a 4G device with dual SIM connectivity. It has an USB-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. You can find it on AliExpress for a special debut price of $219.91. It’s a limited time discount.
